"Bert" Albert Cain

CAIN, Bert (1948 - 2014), embraced by family during a 'hard and stubborn' battle with cancer, peacefully at home on August 12th, the date of their 42nd Wedding Anniversary. Beloved son of John and Mildred Cain, (both deceased), loving husband of Ann (nee Gareau), proud father of Krista (Lloyd Ramnauth), Mary-Anne (Allan Woodhouse), Matthew (Katryne Mann) and Erin (Paul Hobbs). Poppa, Gampa, and Pa-pa of precious Kate, Hazel and Molly. A teacher of thirty years. Brother Garry (Fr. Cain); Sisters: Carmel (Gerald Tallon) and Beverley (James Egan). Visitation at St. Joseph's Motherhouse, 1127 Pembroke St. W. on Friday, August 15th from 3:00 - 7:00 pm and on Saturday, August 16th from 9:30 -10:30 am, thence to St. Columbkille's Cathedral, Pembroke for Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am followed by interment St. Columba's Cemetery. As an expression of remembrance, random acts of kindness will be appreciated: a gift of meaning to your Family Doctor, a caring Health Care Worker, a special person, a child. “So blessed by Miracle and Love of Family all my life.” Arrangements by the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke (613) 732-7481.
